We all keep our postcrossing blogs for a reason - to show our cards and other stuff we receive. Our blogs are like picture galleries and we are like tourists walking through exhibitions. But I would like it to happen in a slightly different way.

I want communication. Let's not only look through pages we follow. Let's talk about it. Let's write comments about what we see and what we choose to follow. Let's discuss postcrossing, pen-palling, stamps. Let's arrange swaps. Let's truly follow each other.

Annie made my day with Moeraki Boulders. Steeped in Maori history, the Moeraki Boulders are as large as 3 metres across and weigh up to several tonnes each. They are located 33 km south of Oamaru, Otago, New Zealand.

The stamp is also related to the Maoris.

And I just love New Zealand airmail stickers!!

Moose is commonly called by new mothers and those manifesting more creativity.

There are lots of little things that make postcrossing special. The most common one is probably postcrossing's ability to make us exclaim: 'It's a small world!'

That exactly what I thought when I first saw this card. You have to agree it's so cool to receive a Nouvelles Images card printed in France that was sent from South Korea for Ireland x OC RR and that actually pictures an artwork of Marc Chagall who has Belorussian roots.

I should hate Marc Chagall actually. Not him in person, but the way he is spoken about in Belarus. He is the one of so called 'forced' belorussians as I believe he was more French, more Russian and more Jewish than Belorussian. Still, everywhere he's mentioned in Belarus he is very Belorussian. It's not fair, it's cheating, and I hate cheaters.

But I love Marc Chagall. I mean, just have a look at Nude Over Vitebsk ! Can you actually hate someone with such an imagination? I can't.

Remember the Art group in Ireland x OC RR?
That's what Farah presented me with. It's a lithograph by Scottish artist David Roberts, and it's called Gateway At Dendera. Roberts traveled in Egypt in 1838 and was fascinated with the country.

I'm pretty sure I need to rename the tag 'local artists' :)

Hello fellow postcrossers!

It's been a while since I last updated. I was out of town, then out of Internet. But now I'm here, and I have around 60 cards to scan and show you. I hope while I'm doing all this I won't have another 60 pending :)

Until I catch up with everything I owe, there will be no discussion posts or stamp collages. I will show the greatest stamps with the cards they were own, to see the rest you are welcome to check out my Gallery. As for discussions, They will follow, but later and in a slightly different way.

My favourite Round Robin had its first Big Group where we're supposed to write a message on receiver's theme. Mine was footprints on the sand.

On the back of Chris Crane and Chris Onstad's 'Check Out This Pipe' Gina reminded me that every story has two points of view. There's a thin line between footsteps left in LA beach by someone's significant other and oily shores of Gulf Coast where some birds left their muddy footprints trying to escape the black gold.
